A storm system is going to shoot out of the southwest U.S. The northern edge of the storm system will sneak into the southern half of Lower Michigan. The brunt of the precipitation will track just south of Michigan in the form of rain. In the very northern part of the storm system the precipitation will likely change to snow during Friday.
