CHARLESTON, WV (WOWK) – Charleston City officials have announced this year’s lineup for Live on the Levee.
All Live on the Levee performances are set to take place at Haddad Riverfront Park’s Schoenbaum Stage. The free concerts all start at 6:30 p.m.
“Live on the Levee is a summertime staple that brings folks together to experience the magic of live music, and create lasting memories with our friends and families,” said Charleston Mayor Amy Shuler Goodwin. “We appreciate the invaluable support of the sponsors and partners whose generous contributions ensure this free concert series remains accessible to our entire community – enriching lives and fostering connection through music.”
The first night of Live on the Levee is set to take place Friday, May 24, and will be First Responder & Military Night. The evening will also feature a fireworks show.
The full line-up of acts includes:
May 24 – Groove Marmalade with opening act Somethin’ Special
May 31 – Night Fever – A Tribute to The Bee Gees with opening act Rewind the Walkman
June 7 – Black Joe Lewis & The Honeybears with opening act The Spurgie Hankins Band
June 14 – Levon with opening act The Greens
June 21 – John Inghram presents: Tribute to the Talking Heads with opening act The Kind Thieves
June 28 – Josh Pantry with opening act The Weekend Warriors
July 12 – The Local Honeys with opening act Corduroy Brown
July 19 – Joslyn & The Sweet Compression with opening act Brenna & The Boys
July 26 – Matt Mullins & the Bringdowns with opening act Grace Campbell
Aug. 9 – Golden with opening act Emmalea Deal & the Hot Mess
City officials say the final night, Aug. 9, will also be “Back to School Night.”
