CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WOWK) – Here are the headliners for the 2024 Charleston Sternwheel Regatta.

This year’s Sternwheel Regatta will be from July 3 to 7 with plenty of events, including free concerts, a carnival, a hot dog eating contest , and more.

Here’s some of the music you’ll be able to hear:

Wednesday, July 3

The opening night of the Charleston Sternwheel Regatta will have you saying, “It wasn’t me.” Shaggy , known for his extremely popular song “It Wasn’t Me,” has been making pop reggae and dancehall music since the 1990s

His two biggest songs – “It Wasn’t Me” and “Angel” – both debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 in late 2000 and stayed there into 2001.

He is in the top three most-streamed reggae artists on Spotify, alongside Bob Marley and Sean Paul.

Thursday, July 4

They won’t let you down.

Emmy-award-winning Beatles tribute band, The Fab Four , will take the stage on the Fourth of July.

These artists are known for playing note-for-note versions of The Beatles’ songs, including “Can’t Buy Me Love,” “Yesterday,” “Here Comes the Sun” and more.

After The Fab Four, fireworks will be let off to celebrate!

Friday, July 5

Get on your “Hillbilly Shoes,” and come on down to the Charleston Sternwheel Regatta on July 5 to listen to Montgomery Gentry featuring Eddie Montgomery !

The award-winning artists saw major success in the late 1990s and the 2000s, with such hits like “Something To Be Proud Of,” “If You Ever Stop Loving Me,” “Roll With Me” and more.

Saturday, July 6

Our final night of headlining concerts is a big one, including some of the biggest names in 1990s music.

I Love the 90s ” features Teach from Naughty by Nature, Young MC, Tone Loc, and Vanilla Ice .

Songs like “Ice Ice Baby,” “Funk Cold Medina” and  “Hip Hop Horray” ruled the radio in the 1990s, and some of these songs and more will be heard on the final night.
