Kooks and Pogues wanted: Casting agents seeking background actors for Outer Banks season 4

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – Filming is already underway for season four of the hit Netflix series ‘Outer Banks,’ which is partially filmed in the Charleston area. Casting agents are looking for paid background actors to appear in the show.

Kimmie Stewart Casting announced Monday they are looking for people to portray ‘Kooks’ and ‘Pogues’ during filming dates this week and into early May.

Males of all ethnicities between ages 18-24 are needed for a featured male kook role. Filming will take place April 25, 30 and May 3, 13. It comes with a guaranteed pay rate of $150 per day plus time and a half after 10 hours. Those interested must be committed to working each date.

Actors are needed to portray Kooks and Pogues, 18 and older, of all genders and ethnicities for filming on April 24 and 25. Pay is a guaranteed $88 plus time and a half after eight hours.

Finally, people over 35 of all genders and ethnicities are wanted to play wealthy Kooks on Friday, April 26. Pay is a guaranteed $88 plus time and a half after eight hours.

Those interested should send their submission to stewartcastingbg@gmail.com and include the following:

2 current photos taken within the last two weeks. (If submitting for the featured Kook, your two photos must be from the same day you submit.) They do not have to be professional – one headshot frames shoulders up and one full body shot.

  • Your name
  • Phone number
  • Age
  • Height / weight
  • Shirt size, pant size, shoe size
  • List all visible tattoos and piercings
  • City and state where you live – you must work local to the Charleston, SC area as travel and lodging is not provided.
  • Year, color, make and model of vehicle you will be driving to set
  • Are you fully available for dates you are submitting with no prior obligations

Casting agents say if you are submitting for multiple roles, you only need to send one email. Be sure to include the dates and role(s) you are submitting for in the subject line of the email.
