On April 22nd, 2024, at 8:16 a.m., the Coos County Sheriff’s Office Dispatch Center received a report of a burglary in progress at a residence on Seven Devils Road near the Charleston Boat Basin.

The homeowners could give a suspect identification from security cameras on the property. K9 Poe responded to the location and tracked the suspect, which provided Deputies with additional evidence, ultimately aiding in the suspect’s arrest.

Sgt. S. Moore along with Deputy Z. Smith pieced together evidence received from the K9 team, surveillance cameras and nearby business which led them to contacting Jordan J. Duvall (31) at Seaport R.V. Park.

During the investigation, Deputies located two firearms, several restricted weapons, and body armor. As a result, Jordan J. Duvall (31) was arrested on the charges of Burglary II, Crim Mischief II, Unlawful Possession of a Firearm x2, Felon in Possession of Restricted Weapon x3, and Possession of Body Armor. Mr. Duvall was transported to the Coos County Jail, where he was booked and remains in custody.
