High-speed crash in North Bend nearly causes citywide blackout
COOS BAY, Ore. — A two-vehicle crash in North Bend almost knocked out power to part of the city. The North Bend Police Department says 35-year-old Philip Parsons of Coos Bay was driving in excess of 100 miles an hour in his grey 2006 BMW when he crashed into a Honda Pilot, and then into a power pole.
