First Alert Forecast | The Humidity Lowers More Than The Heat
HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) - We’re catching a break in the humidity at just the right time, given an upcoming evening full of concerts and a weekend full of fairs and festivals. The hazy clouds and fog that hung around this morning will burn off to a better bluish tint to the afternoon skies. For most of this past week we’ve been stifled by the ever-present humidity, but when mapping the actual rainfall from it many were still left wanting in this spreading drought scenario we’ve been dealing with. Now that we have the sunshine with low humidity, we’ll try to enjoy the weather without feeling too much guilt. Highs will reach the upper 80s, but the northerly breeze will help at least a little. The weather will be wonderful this evening and overnight, as the setting sun will quickly allow temperatures to fall through the 70s and 60s. Campers may need the long sleeves Saturday morning, as the upper 50s will start appearing in the hollows for the first time in a while.
