    Centreville girls win SW10 team title

    WHITE PIGEON — The Centreville girls ran to a pair of wins in dual matchups at White Pigeon on Wednesday.

    With victories over White Pigeon 99-37 and Hartford 96-40, the Lady Bulldogs wrapped up the Southwest 10 Conference championship. Hartford also won a close one over White Pigeon, 67-61.

    Centreville brought home 12 first-place finishes on the evening. Ellie Miller dominated in her events, winning all four.

    CHIEFS: White Pigeon boys secure conference crown

    Miller claimed first in the long jump at 14-11 feet, the 100 dash at 13.71 seconds, the 200 at 28.51 and she was a part of the 800 relay with Nevaeh Prichard, Berkley Shingledecker and Leah Roberts which posted a time of 1:55.87.

    Ellie Reed ran to first in the 400 (1:05.77) and the two-mile run at 14:17.94. She was also a part of two relays which claimed first place. They were the distance relays as the team of Ninon Gontier, Arianna Six, Shingledecker and Reed won the mile relay at 4:34.57 The two-miley relay saw Reed, Six, Shingledecker and Emmy Pritchard post a time of 11:34.69.

    Shingledecker finished first overall in the 800 at 2:39.83.

    Winning the 400 relay saw the team of Prichard, Six, Miah Abnet and Roberts at 55.49.

    Roberts won the high jump at 4-10 feet. Winning the pole vault was Emily Roberts at 8-0 feet.

    White Pigeon's Sydney McClure won the shot put, posting a distance of 33-4 feet.

    Ana Miller was second overall in the 800 at 2:54.94. Addison Smith claimed second in the 100 hurdles at 19.27 seconds.

    The Chiefs ran to second in a pair of relays. The mile relay saw Aubrey Miller, Ana Miller, Kenlee Schrader and Jamielynn Delarye run a time of 4:53.63. The two-mile relay of Ana Miller, Rachel Schelstraete, Delarye and Aubrey Miller run a time of 11:59.46.

    Sadie McDaniel was second in the discus at 85-0 feet. Schrader leaped to second in the high jump at 4-6 feet.
