Dept. of Corrections seeks fugitive with ties to Laconia, Meredith
CONCORD — The New Hampshire Department of Corrections is attempting to locate and detain fugitive Thomas Marceau Mason-Wilder, a 29-year-old, 6'1", 195-pound white male with brown eyes and brown hair. Marceau's last known address was in Nashua, but he may have ties to Laconia and Meredith, according to authorities....

Cambridge Hiker Found Dead In NH Almost Month After Going Missing
CUTT'S GRANT, N.H. (WBZ NewsRadio) — The body of a hiker who had been missing since April 16 was found on Monday morning in the White Mountains. William Donovan was 65 years old and was from Cambridge, Massachusetts. He was first reported missing to the New Hampshire Fish and Game Department in late April after Donovan had been unaccounted for and not seen for around two weeks.

The old Stanton Territorial Hospital in Yellowknife will soon be open for business. Inside, there will be primary care, rehab, long-term care and extended care services. The project is aiming to move the 10 extended care beds in Stanton Territorial Hospital to a new permanent home, as well as satiate the waitlist for beds.
Businesses hope antique center purchase could alleviate Canal Street congestion
LACONIA — If the city’s purchase of the Laconia Antique Center moves forward, Canal Street business owners could look forward to improved access to their storefronts. City council voted to approve the purchase of the back two-thirds of the Laconia Antique Center from State Rep. Charlie St. Clair (D). Melissa Darling and Tyler Hooff would purchase the front third of the parcel and open an Italian-American restaurant named the darling. The city and the restaurateurs would split the cost of a fire wall to divide the parcel.
