One killed in highway motorcycle crash near Winfield
COWLEY COUNTY, Kan. (KAKE) - One person has been killed in a crash involving a motorcycle near Winfield on Wednesday morning, the Cowley County Sheriff's Office says. The sheriff's office says that just before 5:30 a.m., deputies were dispatched to a single-vehicle crash in the 4000 block of U.S. 160 Highway. A motorcyclist was confirmed deceased at the scene.

Oxford was red-hot at the plate headed into the contest (they scored no less than ten runs in the five games prior) but Cedar Vale/Dexter's pitcher proved too tough.
