Multiple Owen athletes take gold at NCHSAA 2A West Regional
Owen High School records fell and medals were raised, May 10, at the NCHSAA 2A Track and Field West Regional in Connelly Springs. The Warhorses and Warlassies, who each finished fourth overall in the competition, claimed a total of 12 medals, while 21 Owen athletes qualified for the NCHSAA 2A State Championship meet, set for 10 a.m., Friday, May 17, on the Marcus T. Johnson track in Greensboro.
