Gladbrook-Reinbeck Class of 2024 graduates!
REINBECK – On the afternoon of Sunday, May 19, 31 seniors with the Gladbrook-Reinbeck High School Class of 2024 participated in commencement exercises at the high school in Reinbeck, taking the next step into adulthood, diploma now in hand. During the April 25 school board meeting, board members approved as part of the consent agenda – pending completion of all graduation requirements – the Class of 2024 Conditional Graduates list which included: Maximus Anderson, Xandra Anderson, Dylinn Blohm, Jada Blohm, Lauren Boyer, Landyn Brubaker, Shelby Brubaker, Isaac Clark, Jeydimar Figueroa-Fernandez, Austin Gehring, Stella Heinzel, Kloie Hendricks, Thomas Husmann, Jonas Kristensen, Tavia Olson, Delaney Petersen, Amaya Peterson, Madison Resendez, Alexander Rogers, Lillie Schildroth, Sophia Schweppe, Amanda Sexton, Logan Stice, Jase Theesfeld, Deacon Thompson, Ashlynn Umbaugh-Tharp, Anthony Utterback, Austin Vaverka, Andrew Westwater, River Wilson, Canaan Baer (early grad), and Skye Larson (senior at River Hills). As part of the May 19 graduation ceremony, featured speakers were seniors Madison Resendez and Lauren Boyer.
Sophia Folkerts named to Central College Dean’s List for Spring 2024
PELLA – Central College Class of 2027 student Sophia Folkerts of Reinbeck has been named to the dean’s list for the Spring 2024 Semester. The honor is awarded to full-time students who achieve a 3.500 GPA or higher on a 4.0 scale while taking 12 or more graded credit hours for the semester.

This group, representing various backgrounds and perspectives, embarked on a journey to review and assess the current state of our school facilities, understand the district’s financial position, and prioritize improvements that would benefit students and the broader community.
