Softball Recap: Defiance wins going away against Van Wert
Defiance scored the most runs they've had all season to find success on Friday. They put the hurt on the Van Wert Cougars with a sharp 25-4 win. Defiance might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won nine matches by six runs or more this season.

Museum planning Spring Tea on May 11
A few tickets are still available for John Paulding Historical Museum’s upcoming annual Spring Tea. The tea will be from 1:00-3:00 p.m. Saturday, May 11. Guests can preview the museum’s new vintage clothing exhibit. Be the first to see 100 years of ladies’ fashions, from the 1880s to 1970s. This special event would make a great Mother’s Day gift. It’s a wonderful way to celebrate with daughters, granddaughters, sisters, mothers and other special women in your life.

Paulding FFA Petting Zoo is A Huge Success!
Friday, April 26th the Paulding FFA Chapter held its annual petting zoo with over 800 students and staff attending. FFA members volunteered to bring in their animals for students and staff to enjoy. The elementary students truly enjoy this day because they get to pet and interact with livestock they may not get to see up close all the time. The animals that were brought in this year by our members included chickens, ducks, geese, goats, a donkey, a miniature pony, a calf, a sow and 5 piglets, a turtle, a guinea pig, a hedgehog, a toad and two dogs.
