Chick-fil-A Canton has awarded $150,000 in scholarships to its employees.

To celebrate the occasion, Chick-fil-A Canton hosted a scholarship bubble party at The Mill on Etowah April 9.

Scholarships are awarded every year to team members who exemplify the balance of work service to the community, according to Chick-fil-A Canton.

The scholarship ceremony has awarded over $1 million in support to team members in Canton since 2017.

“Receiving the Chick-fil-A Scholarship has been a huge blessing to me as I work full time and attend college. I appreciate the encouragement to continue to chase my goals,” said Taylor Cooper, a three-time scholarship recipient.

Chick-fil-A Canton franchisee Kevin Williams, who recently celebrated 30 years with the company, announced the winners and awarded scholarships ranging from $1,000 to $2,500. Team members and their families gathered to honor each other and “their bubbling potential for greatness,” Williams said.

“It is so exciting working with students who understand the beauty of hard work,” Williams said. “This is the greatest generation of all time because they have an eye on changing the world and turn that into action.”

Team members must be employed by Chick-fil-A Canton to be eligible for the Chick-fil-A scholarship. Additionally, they are offered a free college education opportunity through the Alex Gomez Scholarship.
