Carencro City Council holds May meeting
CARENCRO, La. (KADN) — The city of Carencro is holding its monthly council meeting on Monday, May 20, at 6 p.m. It will be held at the city hall auditorium on St. Peter Street in Carencro. The meeting is also available for viewing on the city's website.

These kids take a 'bike bus' to school. Their parents hope it improves safety for cyclists.
Each Friday morning, students who live in Lafayette's Saints Streets neighborhood board a bike bus to school. The children pedal together as a group alongside a few adult chaperones and cross Congress Street to reach Myrtle Place Elementary. On the final Friday of the school year, it's not only raining, but branches and debris litter the roadway from thunderstorms that rolled through the night before. The children aren't phased.
