21 WFMJ archives / June 13, 1980 | Lowellville High School was portrayed in a Vindicator feature 44 years ago as a small school with big expectations of its students. Among the faculty and students pictured was band director Lou Carbone with some of his award-winning musicians: seated, Gina Bisconti, Teresa Siva, and Missy Piner; standing, Roseann Lellio, Eric Uphouse, and Joe Ballone. Thirty percent of the school’s students participated in band.
Meet the new president of Warren John F. Kennedy Catholic School
The Diocese of Youngstown and the administration at Warren John F. Kennedy Catholic School chose William Pituch as their newest leader. Pituch’s coming to Warren from Erie, Penn., where he most recently worked as vice president of academics and student affairs at Erie Catholic Preparatory School and Villa Maria Cathedral Preparatory School System.
PIA announces financial aid for students displaced by sudden school closures
The Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronautics (PIA) School for Aviation Maintenance has announced a new grant available for students who have been displaced due to a sudden school closure.
