Bailey Olson didn't allow a hit and struck out nine in a complete game pitching as the Cameron softball team took down Chetek-Weyerhaeuser 3-1 on Tuesday in Cameron.

Chetek-Weyerhaeuser (3-10, 3-8) got a first inning run after a walk, stolen base, passed ball and RBI ground out. Three Comet errors and one walk were the only other base runners against Olson.

After falling behind 1-0, the Comets (6-9, 4-7) tied the game in the bottom of the first as Olson and Brylee Viltz hit consecutive doubles.

Cameron added on two more in the third. Emerson Krahenbuhl had led off with a double and then Emma Anderson dropped down a bunt and won a race to first. Anderson ran to an open second base which allowed Krahenbuhl to score on the throw, as Anderson also moved up to third. Anderson then scored as Chetek-Weyerhaeuser threw to first on a dropped third strike in the next at-bat.

Krahenbuhl was 2 for 2 with a run scored, while Olson went 2 for 3. Viltz went 1 for 3 with an RBI, and Anderson had a hit and run scored.
