    Things to do: More than 180 raffles will take place during Spring Fest at Deerassic Park

    Head to the Deerassic Park Education Center to enjoy a free, fun-filled afternoon. More than 180 raffles will be drawn for kids ages 3 to 15 in four age groups. Power Wheels, bikes, kayaks and more will be given away. The raffle is free but those interested must be registered by noon. Drawing times start at 1 p.m. Guests can enjoy fishing, canoeing, archery and more at the center. The event is scheduled to run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.     Music at the Brewhouse

    Start the weekend off at Guernsey Brewhouse by listening to the musical stylings of Randy Gleason. With a repertoire spanning decades, you will surely hear something you recognize. This solo artist from the Shawnee area has been delighting listeners for years and has even played with Bob Harvey of Jefferson Airplane fame. The show is scheduled to run from 6 to 9 p.m. on Friday.     Cabaret

    The Meadowbrook High School Brook Singers take the stage this weekend for their annual Cabaret performance. The show will be held in the high school auditorium, bringing number-one hits from Billboard magazine's Hot 100 list to Byesville. Cast members have been practicing for weeks for the annual show. Doors will open at 7 p.m. and the show is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday nights, with the cost of admission being $5 at the door.     Cambridge Singers

    The Cambridge Singers return to the grand and historic Scottish Rite Auditorium to present its spring show. As the oldest continuously performing six-part harmony choir in Ohio, the seasoned pros are ready. The theme of this year's spring show is Get Happy. Along with the spring show, the group puts on a Christmas-themed show and performs throughout the community for various events, such as the Dickens Opening Ceremonies and more. The show is scheduled to run at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday and at 3 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $10 if purchased in advance or $12 at the door.     Mother's Day Brunch

    Treat mom or anyone special in your life to great views and great food at the Georgetown Mother's Day Brunch. The event is scheduled to run from noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday, May 11. Grab a mimosa and a pizza and relax. Live music is scheduled from 1 to 4 p.m. and there will also be pizza specials. Leafy Charms will be on hand doing permanent jewelry if you still need a gift or want to treat yourself. Reservations are not required, and seating is first come, first served.
