Service to Remember Fallen Veterans Held in Mount Olive
MOUNT OLIVE — On Sunday afternoon, members of VFW Post 9959 gathered along with guests in Maplewood Cemetery to honor fallen veterans ahead of Memorial Day. VFW Post Commander James Benson opened the ceremony with a welcome to everyone. Following the opening ceremony VFW Chaplain, Reverend John Moore, led the invocation, followed by the Pledge of Allegiance.

MOUNT OLIVE — Volunteers turned out on Saturday morning at Maplewood Cemetery to place American flags on the graves of fallen soldiers. Among the volunteers in attendance was Bobby Best of VFW post 9959 in Mount Olive.
