Evacuations lifted for Rogue River’s Fielder Mtn. Fire
ROGUE RIVER, Ore. — All remaining evacuations have been lifted for the Fielder Mountain Fire in Rogue River. The now-573-acre fire started last Thursday afternoon, just outside Rogue River alongside I-5. It quickly resulted in several Level 2 and 3 Evacuation Warnings, posing a potential threat to homes on the west side of the city.

Rogue Valley braces for scorching temperatures today
Cloudy conditions are expected early across the Rogue Valley this Monday, gradually giving way to partly cloudy skies this afternoon. Temperatures will climb into the mid-90s, with winds coming from the northwest at 10 to 15 mph, slightly alleviating the heat. Tonight, activity is largely absent across northern California and southern Oregon, with upper-level disturbances keeping the air fairly dry. Minimal thunderstorm activity was observed Saturday evening, and similar conditions are expected for this evening, with only a few stray cells possible over northern Klamath county. If any thunderstorms do develop, erratic gusty winds and hail are possible, along with localized lightning.
