Firefighter taken to hospital during Jefferson Co. fire
ADAMS, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — Around 2:23 a.m. on Saturday, May 4, the Village of Adams Fire Department was called to a house fire at 9 West Church Street. When they arrived on the scene, which is two houses behind their station, firefighters saw a two-story, wood-frame house with heavy fire showing from the sides, said the Adams Fire Department.
May 11: Knights of Columbus chicken BBQ at St. Anthony’s
The Knights of Columbus will host a chicken barbecue at St. Anthony’s Church at 870 Arsenal Street in Watertown. The barbecue will run from 11 a.m. until all are served. The price is $12 for dinners and includes a half-chicken, salt potatoes, beans, rolls and a dessert. There will also be a 50-50 raffle.
