Information is taken from reports provided by the Environmental Health Department, and individual reports can be viewed at its website, http://amarillo.gov/departments/community-services/environmental-health/foodinspections. A numerical grading system is now being used, with a score of 100 points being equivalent to zero demerits.

The Versatility Ranch Horse World Show is set to make a splash at its new home in Amarillo, Texas. Making a debut in its new stomping grounds at the Tri-State Fairgrounds in Amarillo, Texas, the 2024 AQHA Versatility Ranch Horse World Show will be held concurrently with the AQHA Cattle Level 1 Championships, presented by Four Sixes Ranch, and National Ranch and Stock Horse Alliance National Championships.

City departments give updates at Lunch and Learn, including comics at library
The city of Amarillo hosted its monthly Lunch and Learn Wednesday to give updates on some of its departments. Coming back to the Amarillo Public Library will be Comics Plus, an online library of digital comics, graphic novels and manga. This service can be accessed via a computer or tablet. Offerings from the service started May 1 and can be accessed at amarillolibrary.org.
