Domestic violence suspect arrested in Palo Cedro
PALO CEDRO, Calif. - A domestic violence suspect was arrested on Friday in the 7500 block of Deschutes Road in Palo Cedro on Friday, the Shasta County Sheriff’s Office said. Deputies were dispatched to the scene at around 11:30 p.m., and when they arrived they learned that the suspect, Zackary Stevenson, had assaulted his girlfriend while she was holding an infant. He also assaulted a 16-year-old.

A Wenatchee, Washington woman died in the crash reported April 15 on Highway 44 near Old Station, the Shasta County Coroner's Office confirmed on Wednesday.
