Day to Honor Our Loved Ones hits home for Janell Santana Sims
MAYBROOK – Janell Santana Sims lost her father, Oswaldo, to a fentanyl and tramadol overdose three years ago yesterday. To honor him, Sims and other advocates started the Annual Day to Honor Our Loved Ones in Walden. It serves an event to support those who have lost someone to a drug overdose and residents battling addiction.
Newburgh to host Memorial Day Parade on May 27th
NEWBURGH- The City of Newburgh will hold its annual Memorial Day Parade on Monday, May 27th at 10 a.m. Line-up for the parade will be at 9:15 a.m. on Richman Avenue. There will be services held at Washington’s Headquarters immediately after the parade, beginning at approximately 11:15 a.m. All are invited to attend and honor our deceased veterans.
