Two disturbances are bound for the area this weekend. The first brings rain showers, possibly a downpour and thunderstorm overnight, but it now appears as though the bulk of the rain will be tapering during Saturday morning. Saturday afternoon should be drier with some breaks in the clouds.

Similarly, scattered showers Sunday morning, should start to dissipate during the afternoon. By no means will the weekend be a washout. There will at least be some windows of dry time for outdoor activities.

Weather turns tranquil early next week before more unsettledness returns during the last half of the week.
