Male Stabbed Outside of Buffalo High School

Buffalo, NY (WBEN) - One person has been arrested after a stabbing outside of a Buffalo high school Tuesday morning.

Buffalo police say they responded to a call alerting them to a fight outside of Lafayette High School just after 8:00 Tuesday morning.

Northwest District officers and School Resource officers responded to the call where they found two males involved in a dispute when one male stabbed the other.

Police did not release any information on the ages of the males or say if they were students.

One male was transported by ambulance to ECMC to be treated for apparent non-life threatening injuries. The other male sustained a slashing injury.

Buffalo Public Schools have released a statement saying they are supporting the Buffalo Police Department's investigation.

The district says Crisis Prevention and Response Staff are on site to support students and staff.
