Cedar Ridge (29-2) vs. Schertz Clemens (27-10): (Game 1) 6 p.m. Thursday, Schertz Clemens; (2) 6 p.m. Friday, Cedar Ridge; (3) 11 a.m. Saturday, Wimberley, if neededLake Travis (24-13) vs. Bowie (27-8): One game — 7 p.m. Friday, Dripping Springs (one game). This is a rematch of District 26-6A rivals; Bowie held a 2-1 advantage over the Cavaliers in the regular season, as Lake Travis won 6-5 at Bowie on March 22 but then were swept by the Dawgs at home on April 19 and April 22, 7-4 and 7-6.
Bulldogs at State
Several Bulldogs found success at the State Track Meet last week in Austin. Carson McCoy has a successful meet earning silver in the 100-meter dash and gold in the 200-meter dash. Bethany Preusse earned second place in the discus and eighth in the shot put. Everton White finished fourth in the 100-meter dash. The boys 4x100 relay team of Jayden Clawson, Everton White, Owen Pyeatt and Carson McCoy also competed at State. Michigan football hasn’t been as active in the transfer portal this cycle as last, instead acting as a sniper instead of taking in a larger quantity of eligible vagabonds. Last year, the Wolverines got a ton of big names via the portal: LaDarius Henderson, Josaiah Stewart, Drake Nugent, Myles Hinton, AJ Barner, Jack Tuttle, Ernest Hausmann, and Josh Wallace. Longhorns sweep Aggies out of NCAA Tournament
