Ryan Jackson pitched a two-hitter and Cavin Meade was 3-for-3 with a home run in a 10-0 shutout against Turner in the Class 5A regional championship game at Homefields Baseball Complex on Tuesday, May 14.
Wildcats defeat Wamego 10-3 to win regional championship
LOUISBURG – Jack Anderson highlighted a five-run fourth inning with a two-run homer as Louisburg defeated Wamego in the Class 4A regional championship game. The Louisburg Wildcats extended the lead to 9-1 in the fourth inning and went on to take the title 10-3, punching their ticket to state for the first time since 2009. Louisburg advanced to the program's first state championship in 1999.
