HAMILTON. NJ - A “threatening and highly inappropriate” threat to Hamilton High West is unfounded, the Hamilton Police Division said in a statement on Sunday. According to the statement, the threat was posted to social media on Saturday and an investigation by the HPD and the Hamilton Township School District began immediately. “Through collaborative efforts, information received, and data reviewed, we are confident that this social media message has NO credibility and there is NO threat to our students, schools, or community,” the statement said. While the source of the social media post remains under investigation, the HPD shared their confidence that the Hamilton Township School community is safe.
