Contractor Charged With Home Improvement Fraud In Monroe County, DA Says
The District Attorney's Office said Garry Dobson is charged with home improvement fraud, deceptive business practices, and related counts. According to prosecutors, a pair of homeowners gave Dobson a $45,000 deposit to build an addition to their home in June of 2022. Months went by without Dobson beginning the project, and when the homeowners eventually asked for their money back, authorities said Dobson refused.
2 hearings postponed in Bryan Kohberger case
Two hearings have been postponed in the trial of a Poconos man accused of killing four University of Idaho students. Prosecutors say alibi presented in Bryan Kohberger case not specific enough. The hearings are being delayed until the end of the month to give both sides more time to prepare.

BLAKESLEE, Pa. - Police in the Poconos say a five-year-old boy was flown to the hospital after he hit the rear bumper of an SUV as he was riding a scooter Monday. Officers were sent to a motor vehicle accident involving a juvenile on a scooter in Blakeslee, according to a news release from the Pocono Mountain Regional Police. Blakeslee is an unincorporated community in Tobyhanna Township in Monroe County.
