City of Watertown continues treatment and removal of ash trees
WATERTOWN, NY — The Emerald Ash Borer (EAB) was discovered in the City of Watertown in October 2019. EAB is an invasive beetle that targets and kills ash trees by feeding on and destroying the vascular tissue of host trees, ultimately limiting the movement and availability of water and nutrients throughout the tree. If not preventatively treated, infested ash trees will become brittle and hazardous as they decline and die within a few years after initial infestation.

Indiana Ave. with fourth-degree criminal mischief, a misdemeanor. Gile is accused of kicking a wooden bedroom door valued at $150 causing the door to break at about 3:16 p.m. Saturday at 211 S.
