State Road 62 to close in Perry County for culvert work

State Road 62 near Saint Meinrad will close later this month as the Indiana Department of Transportation replaces three culverts along the route. The closure is scheduled to begin on or around Sept. 21 between State Road 145 and Carleton Road, according to a community announcement. The work zone is located in Perry County near Saint Meinrad. Transportation officials said the temporary closure is needed to complete three culvert replacement projects along the corridor. Construction is expected to last about one week, weather permitting.
