    Man killed, another wounded in Brooklyn shooting

    NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) — Police are investigating a double shooting early Friday in Brooklyn that left one man dead and another wounded.

    At approximately 3:23 a.m., police responded to a 911 call of a man shot at 91 Junius St. in Brownsville.

    Upon arrival at the building lobby, officers observed a 34-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds to his torso and a 42-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the left thigh.

    EMS responded and transported the 42-year-old man to NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County in stable condition.

    EMS also transported the 34-year-old victim to Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.

    There have been no arrests made at this time and the investigation remains ongoing.

    The identity of the deceased is being withheld pending family notification.
