NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) — Police on Monday released footage of a gunman wanted in connection to a Bronx shooting last week that left a teen boy critical.

At approximately 8:41 p.m. on Monday, April 29, a 17-year-old boy was in the vicinity of 1700 Crotona Park in Crotona Park East, when the gunman approached and displayed a firearm, officials said.

He discharged multiple rounds at the teen's direction, striking him once in the stomach, cops said.

The suspect then fled the location on foot, traveling westbound on Claremont Parkway.

EMS transported the victim to NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi in critical condition.

The gunman is described as a male with medium complexion and a slim build. He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt with a white logo and multicolored pants.

Anyone with information in regard to this incident is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
