7th person taken to hospital after violent exchange Sunday morning
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) - A seventh person has been taken to the hospital in connection to a shootout Sunday morning involving at least seven people. The incident occurred in the 700 and 800 Blocks of 3rd Avenue West near the Bush Hills community. Police say there may have been over 150 rounds fired during this incident.

HOOVER, Ala. (WBRC) - The Hoover Police Department has arrested a woman they say filed a false report that her nephew fired a weapon at her. Police say they received a call from 51-year-old Joni V. Langford Green who was in the 400 block of Crowne Woods Drive the evening of Wednesday, May 1 saying her nephew, a Birmingham Police officer, shot at her during an altercation that had occurred inside the home just before she called 911.
