Vergennes man killed in Panton ATV crash
Vermont State Police are searching for witnesses to a deadly crash of an all-terrain vehicle in Addison County. The crash took place just before 8:30 p.m. Saturday off of East Road in Panton. Troopers say Colin Hossink, 23, of Vergennes crashed an ATV in a field. He died at the scene before first responders could arrive. East Road was closed near that field for about six hours.

Colchester man charged with criminal threatening
NEW HAVEN — Vermont State Police arrested a 30-year-old Colchester man for allegedly sending threatening text messages to a former family member. Authorities said Alex Billado was charged with criminal threatening following an investigation into the incident, which was reported to the New Haven Barracks at 6:49 p.m. on June 4.
