Hall of Fame: Brianna Larsen
As an eighth-grader at Tea Area at the start of the district, Brianna Larsen found herself as a starter for multiple sports. Larsen, who was inducted into the district’s Hall of Fame during homecoming week, remembers being there when the district announced the new mascot when the district split from Lennox as a student in junior high. She remembers going to school in the stick buildings and navigating the newness of a new school district.

Great Plains Lutheran gets first-ever playoff win & Watertown upsets O'Gorman
WATERTOWN — What was likely the first-ever high school football doubleheader played at one site in Watertown couldn't have been more memorable on Thursday, Oct. 22. A few hours later, fourth-rated Class 11AA Watertown drastically changed its playoff hopes with a stunning fourth-quarter rally to beat fifth-rated Class 11AAA O'Gorman 15-14. The Arrows scored a touchdown with 1:07 left, took the lead on a two-point conversion pass and then held own when an O'Gorman field-goal attempt in the final seconds went wide left. It was Watertown's first win over a Class 11AAA school since 2023. The two Watertown high schools have played home games on the same day before but never at the same field until Thursday. Watertown 15, O'Gorman 14 O'Gorman had plenty of chances, but Watertown's defense came up with some big plays. The Knights (5-4) drove
