Utica Softball Splits Doubleheader at Home with Keuka, Ending it's Home Unbeaten Streak in Game 1, 9-6; Pioneers Take Game 2, 11-1
UTICA, N.Y. -- Utica Softball split its doubleheader with visiting Keuka College on Thursday. As a result, the Pioneers are no longer unbeaten at Greenman Field. In Game 1, the Pioneers took a 1-0 lead into the second inning, but the Wolves scored five runs in the top of the inning, holding on for the 9-6 win.

The New York State Sportswriters Association’s large school boys basketball all-state selections for the 2023-24 season have been released. Central Valley Academy senior Deacon Judd earned the highest honors of any large-school player from the Mohawk Valley area in Section III. After being named the Tri-Valley League Player of the Year last month, Judd earned second-team honors in Class A.
