Officials urge Harrison County residents to fill out survey regarding storm damage
BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. (WDTV) - The Office of Emergency Management in Harrison County is urging residents to fill out a weather damage survey for recent storm damage. Residents in Bridgeport, Shinnston and West Milford should fill out the survey if they experienced flooding damage from the overnight storms on May 26.

BRIDGEPORT, W.Va (WDTV) -During the Memorial Day weekend, people had a lot of fun, but there was also a lot of rain. Over the weekend, storms rolled through Hudson County, dumping approximately 3 to 3.5 inches of rain. The Bridgeport Fire Department says the fast-moving water created problems for them and the public.

GRAFTON, W.Va (WDTV) -Memorial Day is a time of remembrance, and people were out in full force at the Grafton National Cemetery. Today marked year 157 for the West Virginia Memorial Day parade ceremony in Grafton. Dozens of people were in attendance to honor fallen U.S. service members. Fairmont Council waives option to buy Fifth Street Gym
FAIRMONT, W.Va. – Fairmont City Council met Tuesday evening, where it held a public hearing and reading of an ordinance regarding a property purchase option. During the meeting, the council unanimously approved an ordinance authorizing the execution and delivery of a waiver or a release of the right of first refusal to purchase the Fifth Street Gym from the Marion County Board of Education. The city owns the park beside the gym and had the option to buy the property in the deed.
