    2 Bridgeport police officers injured after ‘inadvertently’ colliding with one another

    BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (WTNH) – Two Bridgeport police officers were injured Monday after officials said they collided with each other while responding to a call.

    Police officials said the officers were responding to a call around 12:50 p.m. when they “inadvertently collided with one another” in the area of South Avenue and Iranistan Avenue.

    Both officers were transported to hospitals with injuries, officials said. They were both released before 3 p.m.
