N.J. BBQ truck known for crazy creations opening first restaurant
A New Jersey food truck known for barbecue classics as well as non-conventional creations is opting to park and open up a brick-and-mortar location. Harry’s Smokin’ BBQ, which has operated out of Toms River for more than four years, will open up at 213 Route 37 in Toms River. The space was formerly home to Mi Mexico Lindo.

Bodycam footage obtained by TLS shows Lakewood police officers and neighbors rescuing a victim from a structure fire earlier this month. On May 4th, at approximately 1:20 AM, Lakewood Police Department, Lakewood Twp EMS, and Lakewood Fire Department were dispatched for a structure fire on Joe Parker Rd. Upon arrival, officers found a residential home engulfed in flames.

Busy Court Docket Among Residents’ Concerns
MANCHESTER – Several township residents brought their concerns, recommendations and suggestions to the governing body during a recent Township Council meeting. Resident Tom Farrell noted that with Manchester sharing court services with nearby Lakehurst and Plumsted that things may be getting crowded. “I’ve had to appear in the court and this is standing room only here. Court opens at 9:30 a.m. and I imagine that if you came in at 10:30 a.m. it would be packed.”

Dog abandoned by owner in York County SPCA parking lot
YORK, Pa. — The York County SPCA is trying to find out who abandoned a dog in their parking lot this week. Staff said a person tied the dog to the light pole and left it in the parking lot of the facility on North Susquehanna Trail in Manchester Township.
