1 dead in ATV crash near Mille Lacs Lake
GARRISON, Minn. — A man is dead and a woman is injured after an ATV crash near Mille Lacs Lake.According to the Crow Wing County Sheriff's Office, the crash happened around 9:40 p.m. Saturday on the 26000 block of Linden Street in Garrison.A 23-year-old woman from Becker was driving the ATV when it left the road and overturned. She suffered only minor injuries, but her passenger, a 52-year-old man from Becker, was killed, the sheriff's office said.Multiple agencies responded to the crash.

NISSWA, Minn. — A Zimmerman woman was killed in a two-vehicle crash near Brainerd Monday evening. The Minnesota State Patrol said the collision happened at the intersection of State Highway 371 and County Road 13 in Nisswa, Minnesota, a small town about two hours north of the Twin Cities, just before 11 p.m.
Morrison County District Court gross misdemeanor charges filed
Morrison County Attorney Brian Middendorf and his staff have filed gross misdemeanor complaints against the following individuals: • Adrian Jeffery Westerlund, 32, St. Cloud — In connection with a May 19 incident, Westerlund was charged with one count of fifth-degree possession of a controlled substance. • James Joseph Heinz, 31, Pierz — In connection with a May 18 incident, Heinz was charged with one count of driving after cancellation. • Kole Patrick Kern, 22, Little Falls — In connection with a May 23 incident, Kern was charged with two counts of DWI.
