IVC High students raise $43,000 for cystic fibrosis
CHILLICOTHE, Ill. (WMBD) — Illinois Valley Central High School students raised more than $43,000 as part of their annual cystic fibrosis fundraiser. Nineteen teams of five students have been raising money since January. During Friday’s school assembly, students bid on 19 lunches and then devoured their winnings. Many wore costumes, and some even got pie in their face.
