New Restaurant to Open in Historic Medfield Post Office

In the heart of Medfield Center , a new restaurant is swiftly taking shape.

Originally designated as a post office, the 21 North St site was constructed in 1958 by brothers Allan and Robert Larkin under commission by the US Government. Years later, it transformed into Zebra’s Bistro and Wine Bar, and subsequently Nosh & Grog , a new American eatery that has since relocated to Canton.

Now, nearly seven decades after its initial construction, husband-and-wife duo Garrett and Nikki Larkin have “revitalized and reimagined” the historic building as 21North , an “upscale casual” restaurant.

At 21North, patrons can anticipate a fusion of light bites and American fare with a contemporary twist, including classics like burgers and fries. Initially focusing on dinner, the Larkins eventually plan to expand the restaurant’s offerings to include weekend brunch.

The ambiance of the historic space will radiate warmth, offering the ideal atmosphere to dine, drink, and enjoy time with family and friends. Guests can relax at the custom tables and booths or gather around the 30-seat bar, encircled by comfortable lounge seating.

Garrett Larkin told What Now Boston that the establishment will host a soft launch in the coming weeks, with a grand opening celebration to follow. Stay updated on the latest developments by following 21North on Facebook and Instagram .
