USC women's basketball commit Avery Howell wins Gatorade Idaho Player of the Year
USC commit and Boise High School star Avery Howell has been chosen as the Gatorade Idaho Girls Basketball Player of the Year for the second season in a row. Howell averaged 21.2 points, 10.6 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 2.9 steals per game, leading her team to a third-place finish in the state with a 24-2 record.
