Update: Forecasted inclement weather has delayed the concert until Saturday night.

BOARDMAN, Ohio (WKBN)- Boardman’s Rock Orchestra Project Mayhem is set to rock out this weekend, just one day later than scheduled.

The concert initially scheduled for Friday night has been moved to Saturday night due to the weather. The annual Spartan Stadium Show kicks off at 8:30 p.m. and features more than 40 student musicians and singers. And this year the show is going even bigger.

“We had about $5000 to $10,000 in fireworks donated to our show,” said Boardman High School Senior Keegan Kilpatrick. “As always we have a phenomenal set list and a phenomenal cast of workers and people. it’s a show you don’t want to miss.”

The setlist ranges from songs by the Foo Fighters to the Zac Brown Band, to Guns and Roses and Olivia Rodrigo. The students say there’s a little bit of something for everyone at the unique event.

“What other school is putting on two rock concerts a year?” said Boardman High School Senior Adriana Trafficante. “Its a really big community and again, there’s nothing like it around here.”

Tickets are $10 and can be bought at the gate the night of the show with cash or check.

The indoor show in March sold out with nearly 2,000 people.
