RPD names officers involved in shooting of armed suspect
ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ) - The Roanoke Police Department has identified the officers involved in the shooting of an armed suspect. Officers W. Frosell and B. Bailey confronted the suspect at a home near the intersection of 6th St. and Moorman Ave. NW around 8 p.m. Monday. The officers deployed a taser before shooting the man, who family identified to WDBJ7 as Robert Lee Jones.
