Augusta County tax deadline extended
VERONA – The Augusta County Board of Supervisors extended this year’s tax deadline from June 5 to June 21. The change comes due to the reassessment process. According to Deputy County Administrator Jennifer Whetzel, a delay in procurement led the tax bills being mailed later than usual. The mailing delay pushed the staff to request the deadline delay from the supervisors.
