Wood County grand jury issues new round of indictments
PARKERSBURG — Two men were indicted for attempted murder Monday from separate incidents by a grand jury in Wood County. Carl Clayton Robinson, 28, North Central Regional Jail, was charged with attempted murder, malicious assault, domestic battery and obstructing an officer from an incident on Thanksgiving 2023 when he was accused of stabbing his father at a residence in the 600 block of 33rd Street.

PARKERSBURG, W.Va. (WTAP) - Lingering clouds stick around after the system moved through last night. Overnight, clouds will stick around for the most part allowing for temperatures to only fall into the mid 40s for most areas. Some areas could see some more clearing by morning which could lead to some patchy fog forming and temperatures falling into the lower 40s. High pressure will start moving in Sunday which will help clear out any lingering clouds the later in the day we get. We will also see more of a southerly flow which will help temperatures to reach the upper 60s, though if the clouds clear quicker than expected we could hit 70.
