Blountstown track and field teams sweep districts

WEWAHITCHA, Fla. (WMBB) – The Blountstown boys and girls track and field teams took first place at the Class 1A District 2 Championship meet in Wewahitcka on Tuesday.

The Blountstown girls edged out their track and field rival, Port St. Joe, by just one point to secure the title.

Class 2A District 1 Girls Team Results:

Class 2A District 1 Boys Team Results:

1. Blountstown – 237

8. Cottondale – 11

The Class 1A Region 1 meet will be in Jacksonville at the University of North Florida on Tuesday, May 7.
